GMUG National Forests and Western Colorado University host Taylor Park field trip

Meet up: Tin Cup Town Hall 9:30 a.m.

Gunnison CARPOOL: Leaving western Campus at 8:00 A.M.

The Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre and Gunnison (GMUG) National Forests and Western Colorado University’s Center for Public Lands are hosting a public field trip for the Taylor Park Vegetation Management project. The Taylor Park project is the in the planning and environmental analysis process.

All interested members of the public are invited to attend and interact with personnel from the GMUGs’ staff and Western’s affiliated science team on an all-day event in Taylor park to learn about the project and recent work.

There will be a meet up at the Tin Cup Town hall at 9:30 a.m. If leaving from Gunnison, a carpool with University vans will be leaving campus at 8:00 a.m. and returning to this location by 5:30 p.m.
